Code Switching Used in English Language Teaching : An Analysis of Teaching Learning Process Utterance in Beginner Speaking Class of the Course Khoirul Anwar (0203157077) Post-Graduate Program, English Studies of UNNES Semarang anwarpancasila@gmail.com Abstract The aim of this paper is to find the kinds and factors of using code switching in English teaching-learning process in beginner speaking class of the course. The subject of the research is tutor and learners of speaking class level one of MOB English Course . The researcher collects the data by observing the participant’s communication in English teaching-learning process through recording, then, the researcher transcribes the result of observation as documentation. The last, the researcher examine with the result of the interview . According to the grammatical classification, there are three types of code switching which is appeared in English language teaching of speaking class of MOB English course. They
